553: The Prayer of Freedom: Peace and Abundance
Discover The Prayer of Freedom—a powerful guide to break spiritual chains, heal deeply, and reclaim the abundant life God intended.
What if the key to true healing, breakthrough, and freedom has been within your reach all along—but hidden beneath layers of fear, doubt, and unrepented sin? In this eye-opening conversation, we dive deep with Beatty Carmichael into the mysteries of faith, the power of repentance, and the spiritual mechanics that unlock God’s freedom in our lives. From Peter walking on water, to modern testimonies of healing, deliverance, and restored families, this episode uncovers practical steps to break free from torment and walk in radical faith. Whether you’ve struggled with cycles of fear, lingering illness, or family strongholds, this interview will equip you with the tools to walk boldly in God’s promises and experience lasting transformation.
Highlights:
- Faith shifts outcomes when fear is replaced by trust. The story of Peter walking on water illustrated how belief allows miracles, while doubt and fear cause them to cease.
- Healing often comes through obedience, not just belief. Many people experience freedom and healing when they simply follow God’s instructions, even if they doubt the outcome.
- Deliverance reveals how sin empowers demonic kingdoms. Each sinful act strengthens spiritual strongholds, but casting out the “prince” spirit removes the entire kingdom attached to it.
- Different spirits manifest in distinct ways. Demons, amplifiers, and infirmity spirits affect people differently, with infirmity spirits often tied to sickness and lingering illness.
- Repentance is the key to freedom and breaking torment. By confessing sins, people remove the legal rights of spirits to accuse them, cutting off spiritual strongholds.
- Engagement with occult practices opens doors to darkness. Even seemingly harmless activities like certain movies, books, or games can spiritually bind people when they engage with them.
- The Prayer of Freedom provides a structured path to deliverance. Lists of unforgiveness, sexual sin, and occult involvement serve as memory joggers for repentance.
- Repenting on behalf of loved ones can bring breakthrough. As spiritual priests, believers can intercede in the heavenly courtroom for family members, breaking torment in their lives.
- Repentance clears the “grime” blocking intimacy with God. Once sin is removed, believers hear God’s voice more clearly and experience deeper spiritual connection.
- The goal is to equip people to walk in freedom themselves. Rather than creating dependency on a leader, the teaching emphasizes empowerment so each person can experience lasting freedom with God.
Intro:
Welcome to the Learn True Health Podcast. I'm your host, Ashley James. This is Episode 553.
Hello True Health Seeker and welcome to another exciting episode of the Learn True Health Podcast. Today is the continuation of Episode 552. We have a wonderful rest of the interview here, and if you didn't listen to 552, I definitely encourage you to go back. But this whole interview, Episode 553, is excellent. I'm really enjoying what Beatty Carmichael has shared and I've already bought his book. The moment I finished recording the interview I bought his book, and I bought the other book that he recommended on finances. I'm halfway through that book and just loving it, loving what I'm learning. I'm also halfway through his book and loving what I'm learning and really excited to share the results I see in my life and the revelations when we have him back on the show.
We'll have him back in the next few months, and that would be a lot of fun, especially for those who are following along and wanting to explore this transformation as a group. I would love to hear what you guys have to share.
I've been receiving some really cool testimonials about a recent interview that I did. Let's see, it was Episode 551 with Chris Burres, and that is the myvitalc.com/LTH. I'll make sure that link is in the show notes here. You can also jump to Episode 551 if you haven't listened to it already. It's a Nobel Prize winning discovery in longevity, a huge breakthrough. Episode 551, if you haven't listened to it already, is a Nobel Prize winning discovery in longevity, a huge breakthrough. It's a supplement that mops up the waste that damages our mitochondria and our cells, and it has the most amazing effects on the body.
The testimonials—normally I don't get a ton of testimonials pouring in. I think they kind of trickle in, because most people that have results don't report back to me. I'd love it if everyone did. It would be so cool if everyone reported back to me when they had a positive experience from the show. But I do hear from people on a regular basis, so thank you for reaching out and touching base with me and letting me know what you've learned and how my show has affected your life. I'd love to hear the positive experiences that you've had. It helps me, motivates me, and guides me to continue to do this work when I know that it's making a difference in your life. So thank you for those testimonials that I have received.
For the last almost 10 years I've been doing this show, but recently, since I published Episode 551, I've been receiving an uptick in testimonials coming in. It's still fairly new. I published it last month, just a few weeks ago actually. So people placed their orders, started taking that supplement. Here's what I've heard so far.
I can tell you from my husband. He's been having these very weird migraines. We have tried everything under the sun and all natural things have helped somewhat, have lessened the extent. When they first developed, it was a botched root canal that triggered it. Almost three years ago, he was having daily migraines. They would start in his neck and it was a neurological event that would creep all the way up into his head. He'd see auras, he'd be exhausted, and he'd be in pain for between six and eight hours daily.
We started going to every single specialist and holistic-minded specialist, trying all kinds of therapies and changing diet and fasting and prayer and just everything to work on it—except for what we're discussing today in today's interview. My husband and I are diving into the prayer of freedom, so looking forward to those results. I believe that health is mental, emotional, spiritual, physical, and energetic.
We have to get that. We don't just live on the physical plane. We live in many bodies. We have a spiritual body, we have a physical body, we have an emotional body, and we have a mental body. When something is disrupted on one of these planes of existence, it affects all planes of existence. We really should be looking for answers on all planes of existence. We should look in our spiritual life for healing. We should look for emotional and mental healing. We should look for physical healing. Diet, exercise, and supplements aren't the only way to help the body heal. That's really important, and there's a lot we can do to support the body's ability to heal itself as we're also exploring healing ourselves on every foundation, on every level.
So my husband started taking the supplement, the C60. We've had C60 from other companies, but it's never been super effective. We haven't really seen great results. Then we started taking the myvitalc.com/LTH and that gives you the coupon code and gives you the discount that takes off of your first order. In the interview of Episode 551, he explains how to get the best price, which he wants you to get the best price, and I want you to get the best price. So you'll definitely want to listen to that.
My husband started taking it and the frequency of his migraines went down significantly. He'd go an entire seven days without them, which is rare. We can count on one hand how many times that has happened in the last almost three years. When they started to come on and he could feel them coming on, he would take a dose of the C60. This isn't just any C60, because in Episode 551 it's explained that where you get it from really matters. There are a lot of sham places out there, but this is actually the only lab, the original lab, that produced C60 for the PhDs and scientists who won the Nobel Prize in studying C60. Every time my husband takes it, it turns off the migraines. They just go away. How cool is that? The frequency has gone down significantly and he's able to now turn them off with the C60.
We also noticed better sleep, deeper sleep. Both of us did. We had been waking up kind of early in the morning on a little bit of adrenaline. Not necessarily well rested, but just from cortisol we were waking up earlier. Both of us felt that way because we're in that season of our lives where we felt some pressure to wake up and get things done, but not necessarily in a restful way. Now that we take it, we actually sleep in, cuddle, feel relaxed, get up, and start our day. We're even more productive because of the way in which we begin our day. I noticed that it kind of took the edge off and allowed us to feel like we could actually be calm and relaxed.
Other listeners who have reached out to me have shared some really cool results—feeling 15 years younger, having incredible deep sleep. One listener said that they had a viral problem with their gut a few years ago that ripped up their gut health and left them in poor shape for years. After one week on the C60, their gut is back to normal. They just can't believe it, and they think that maybe it had to do with systemic inflammation being the problem for them. Really cool results that I'm hearing, so I can't wait to hear your results.
Please share. Come into the Facebook group, the Learn True Health Facebook group. I'd love to hear your results. If you want to try it, listen to Episode 551 and then go to myvitalc.com/LTH. I'll make sure the link is in the show notes so that you can grab it and get the discount. I want to make sure that everyone gets the Learn True Health discount for the supplement. I love it when guests give us a discount.

So what are some absolutes? You had mentioned we're honoring God by following His pure will. What does that look like? I'm just speaking to those who either aren't Christian or haven't deeply read the Bible. So what does that look like in life?
Beatty Carmichael (0:10:35.468)
I'm trying to discern if God wants me to share something really personal. I think He does. Over the years, God has been training me on financial faith and using it as a bedrock to teach obedience to His word.
It started when, before I was married, I had work and $25 left over after paying all my bills. I was living basically paycheck to paycheck. Then I read a book called Trust God for Your Finances. It's an old book, out of print, by an old businessman. It focused on two primary verses: Malachi 3:10-11 and 2 Corinthians 9:6-12.
The giving verses and the general gist out of both of those is, in Malachi, it says, “Put God to the test. Test me now in this,” says the Lord. What He's saying is, “Test my word so I can prove it true.” It was a financial test to give. In the 2 Corinthians passage, it says to give generously and give from your heart.
You cannot outgive God's ability to reproduce all that you need and give you an abundance. At this time, I was giving 15% of my gross income, and I had $25 left over. I felt this conviction in my heart to take God, black and white, at His word. My prayer at that moment was almost verbatim:
“God, if You're that big of a God, then prove it. I'm going to triple my giving right now for the next 90 days, and You prove that You can take care of me.”
So I went from 15% giving to 45% without any adjustment in anything. I simply gave three times more. Keep in mind, I only had $25 left over, so I didn't have the room to increase it. I did not look back for 90 days.
At the end of 90 days, I did an accounting. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was taking God's word at His word and giving Him an opportunity to prove it truthful or a lie. At the end of 90 days, I had given three times more—45%—and I had $25 left over every single month. I thought, how in the world did that happen?
I started looking at my expenses because my income didn't change. My car, which had kept breaking down every single month, did not break down at all for the last 90 days. The amount that I had been spending on my car was exactly the added amount I needed to triple my giving.
I got really excited about that because now I knew that God could take care of me, and I did not have to worry about money.
Fast forward—I get married. I have a child. Actually I don’t, my wife does but we have a child together. Then in 1997, I found myself unemployed. My wife was a stay-at-home mom, pregnant with our second son, who came in June that year. We had $5,000 in savings in the bank. I had no prospects for making money.
A friend of ours, who was going on the mission field, came by raising funds. We gave him our savings of $5,000. Now we put ourselves entirely in God's hands. We had nothing. We had a mortgage, a car payment, food, diapers, insurance, and a baby coming due that year.
I did 13 different things that year just to make ends meet. My total adjusted gross income was $11,882. I still have the tax return. At that time, we had increased our giving to 20%. We were still giving 20% at the time we had nothing.
We never missed a payment and we were never late on any payment. God provided. Looking backward, you could see how He provided, but going into it, there was no way. We didn’t worry about how He would do it. We simply knew that He would because He had proven it earlier. So we kept our giving at 20%, and God totally blessed us.
One of the things that came out of that was one of those 13 things I did turn into a business that supported us for the last 25 or 30 years.
Then there was another time where faith came in, and I got fearful. We had just lost our biggest account, which was producing $75,000 a month in gross profit that made life easy to live on. At the time we had that account, we had increased our giving to 60% of all our income—business profits and all—and we lived on the remaining 40%.
We knew ahead of time—three or four months—that this largest account of ours was going to leave. Once it left, we would instantly go upside down and lose money. I did not reduce my giving because God had told me earlier to increase my giving to 60%.
We were running toward this brick wall with no plans to store up money because we trusted the Lord to provide. A friend of mine, another business owner, much wealthier, said, “I believe in trusting God, but I've never given to that level where I know I was going to be upside down.” I said, “Well, that's okay. It's not me—God told me to do it.”
That account left right on time, and we lost $75,000 a month in gross profit. We instantly went upside down. In business, you're either making profit or losing money. We immediately started losing money and burning cash. We had no reserves because of the way everything transpired.
I panicked. I took a huge pay cut. I had all my employees take mandatory pay cuts. We battened down the hatches and said, “Okay, let's weather this thing out.”
After six months, we were still losing money.
It's hard. We're just kind of breaking even on me, which is very minimal at that point. I knew God could change it, but He wasn't. Everyone was on this huge reduced pay. This was the end of January of that year. I took a day off from work and I said, “God, what's going on? Why aren't You letting up?”
God said, “Do you really believe My Word that I will take care of you?” I said, “Yes.” Then He asked me a really powerful question. He said, “If you believed My Word to be true, how would you be acting differently than you're acting right now?” That really cut to the quick. I said, “I would put all my people at full pay and I would be at full pay myself.” Then He said, “Well then why don't you do that and trust Me?”
So I called my business manager. We were twice-monthly payments, the 15th and the 31st. I called my business manager and said, “Put everyone back at full pay retroactive for this month.” We’d been on reduced pay for six months, but we were most of the way through January. So three days from now, we were going to have a huge payroll because it was going to catch up the short pay from January 15.
That month, we went minus $10,000 in the red. We lost $10,000 in cash, and for a small business, that was really painful. But the next month, we made $10,000 in profit. So in a 30-day period, we had a $20,000 swing in profit. I looked at my P&L.
For non-business owners, your P&L is the scorecard—how the income comes in and the expenses go out—so you can figure out what's going on. I looked at my P&L and I couldn't figure it out. Even to this day, I can't see it. You look at one month to the next—we didn't have a lot more money coming in, we didn't have a lot fewer expenses going out. Something happened and it was just there. For the next six months, we were making about $10,000 a month profit. Everyone is back at full pay.
Then He tests me again. He started to teach me the parable of the owner, the parable of the servant-son. The parable of the servant-son—if you go back and read this, this is what most people call the parable of the prodigal son, because everyone's focused on the prodigal son. But the servant-son is what the Lord was showing me on this one. This is a step of faith.
Here's the scenario: the prodigal son goes to Dad. In that culture, this was horrendous. He said, “Dad, I don't want to wait till you die to get your money. I want it right now. Give me my share of the estate because I don't love you. I just want your money.” That was horrendous. The dad distributed his estate between his oldest son and his younger son. The younger son went and squandered it on loose living.
He runs out of money, and the owner's son—the older son—stays there and keeps working the farm. Then the younger son comes back in squalor, and the dad runs out and embraces him with love in his heart. So excited, he kills the fattened calf—that is the prize calf for big feast, for special feast—to feast that his son has returned. The older son is out in the field.
He hears everyone clamoring and all this hooping and hollering and this party going on. He says, “What's going on?” Someone says, “Your younger brother's returned and your father's killed the fattened calf.” The older son gets terribly upset. The father comes out and says, “Come back and enjoy the party.” He says, “No.”
The father says, “Why not?” He says, “Your younger son squandered all your wealth. Now he comes back and you killed the prized calf for big celebrations. I have slaved and labored for you all these years. I've worked in the field in the heat of the day. I've done all this stuff—everything you wanted me to do—and you've never so much as given me a goat that I could have a little party with my friends.” Then the dad said something really powerful. He said, “But son, all that I have is already yours.”
What had happened is—and this is what happens with us in the new covenant—when we believe in Jesus and we're now born again, because we don't see any change, we can't really perceive that change has occurred. But what the Lord was showing me at that moment is that all of the Lord's is already ours.
These heavenly truths only become earthly realities through faith. You have to walk it out because you believe it in your heart, not in your mind. When you believe it in your heart, then you act differently. Just like when I put everyone back up to full pay, I believed in my heart God would honor His Word, so I stepped out by faith to do it.
What the Lord has been showing me recently—this has now been for the last four years—is living as if we had it and trusting Him to provide it before the money runs out. This is contrary to all the wisdom teaching of saving and everything else. This isn't for everyone, but you're asking what are some real-life examples of what living by faith radically looks like. It looks like when God says to do something, that's what you do.
It's not when God says to do something, then you figure out, “I'll do it only to this certain point.” Where we are right now—boy, this is really strange because God's never told me to share this—but where we are right now is my business that has been producing all these years, God has systematically been turning down. Right now it no longer supports us. We don't pull any money out.

He has told me to not worry about that and focus only on getting the message of The Prayer of Freedom out to His people to set His people free. I didn't want to write the book, but I was seeing 90% of people being healed and restored simply by going through The Prayer of Freedom and repenting of sins. I had to ask God three times, “Do You want me to write this book?” Each time He said, “Set My people free.” So then I wrote the book.
Then I said, what do you want me to do? He had me shelve it for a year. Then this year, He's told me to start to get the message out, and He said, don't worry about your business. He basically said, abandon your business, manage the details of payroll and those types of things, but put no effort in your business. Focus only on this. Spend money as if you have it, and expect Me to provide it before you run out.
So we have right now no income coming in from our business. We're about to take a trip to Italy and Spain. We're using up all the cash that we have because he said, and I was saying, how long does this go on? He said, you have to get to the point that you have no resources remaining to pass the test of faith because the test of faith isn't how well you start. It only finishes when you pass it.
In my story where I am right now, it's very similar in concept and pattern to Abraham's story with sacrificing Isaac. Let me dice what faith looks like in action. God comes to Abraham and says, Abraham. Yes sir. Take Isaac your son and sacrifice him on Mount Moriah. Abraham says, yes sir, and says, Abraham got up early the next morning and immediately left with Isaac and his servant and the wood and fire and went on his three-day journey to Mount Moriah.
Notice that he did not stop, he didn't ponder, he didn't think through, “Should I do that? He's my only son, son of the promise.” He got up and immediately obeyed. And we think that was great, but watch this. That takes no effort. That takes very little faith, in other words, because you could still stop. But Abraham never slowed down on his journey.
Then he gets to the mountain and he takes only Isaac and the wood and the fire up to the top, and that's good. But he didn't stop there. At any point along the way, if he had stopped, he would have failed his test of faith. The test of faith was not completed until he got to the very end, until you get to the steel door and expect it to open. So for Abraham, it wasn't until he raised the knife to kill his son by God's directive that God then stopped the test and said, okay, you passed. Here's a substitute sacrifice for Isaac.
That's where we are right now. For these last several years as the business has been winding down, the Lord's been consistently telling me over and over again, spend as if you had it. So we've taken trips to Iceland and Switzerland and Spain. A friend of ours asked us when we went to Switzerland, they said, well, why did you go to Switzerland? My wife hates it when I'm quite so candid. I said, because it was the most expensive trip we could do. But that was the honest answer. It was the most expensive trip because God said to spend as if you had it. If I had the money, I'd go to Switzerland. So that's what we did.
There's no holding back. My wife wants to cut back on this because our money's running out, our helix is running out. I said, no, we don't cut back. God said spend as if you had it and he will act before the resources run out. But he won't act until they run out. That was the key.
If you look at every time a miracle is done in the Bible, especially a multiplication miracle, it always happens when you're completely out of resources and have just a little bit left. Let me see if I can just recount a few of these. So a woman comes to Elijah during the drought of Ahab. There's a big drought. All the food goes out. God says, go to Zarephath. I've commanded a widow there to provide for you. Well, the widow doesn't know that. He finds this widow in Zarephath and he says, what type of food do you have? She said, just a little bit of oil in a jar and a little bit of flour. I'm about to go make a bread cake for me and my son and then we're going to die because there's no food anywhere. Elijah says, here's the word of the Lord, give me a piece of it first and then you make a bread cake for you and your son and it will not run out until the rains come.
So she obeyed, she followed black and white, God's word. When she made a piece first for him and then made some for her and her son, it said the bread, the flour never ran out and neither did the oil until the rains came.
Then you have another widow whose husband died. Her sons were going to be sold into slavery to pay his debt. So she goes to Elisha the prophet and he says, what do you have in the house? She said, all I have is a little jar of oil. He said, that's perfect, that's all you need. God always takes the little that you have and then multiplies it for the abundance that you need. This is the key with faith. He always takes the little that you have.
He said, go gather all the jars in the village, everything. So she does and he says, now what I do is start pouring the oil in the jars. She starts filling up all of these jars with oil. It doesn't stop until there's no more jars to fill up. Then she says, what do I do? He says, sell it, pay off the debts, and then you and your family live off the rest.
Then even with Jesus, he's out there, there's this crowd of 5,000 men plus women and children, and he asks Peter to test him. He said, how are we going to feed all these people, Peter? He said, I don't know, all we have is a little boy with five loaves and two fish. Jesus says, that's enough. He takes the little that they have and produces the abundance that they need.
Every single time, that's how God works. So the way faith looks in real life is that you go to the end based on God's directive until failure is certain and disaster is complete. It would just totally wipe you out of whatever it is entirely on God's word and expect Him to move.
He said He does, because He said, if you have faith, it will always happen. But if you don't have faith, if you doubt, then the consequence will happen. So over these years, step by step, He's been strengthening my faith, increasing my resolve and trusting Him to the point that we can carry on a very lavish lifestyle, very expensive lifestyle, and continue to spend money.
Continue to just have almost $15,000 of dental work and not flinch at it, not worry about it, say, all right, we're getting down to the end even faster now. Let's go spend more money and not know how we're going to pay next month's bills because we don't have the resources for all the next months. But God said He's going to do something and He always does.
Ashley James (0:32:36.594)
You're still tithing more than 10 percent, right?
Beatty Carmichael (0:32:40.270)
Yes. Our tithe looks different. Much of our tithe is investing in this ministry. So we started a nonprofit ministry to support this and we're self-funding it.
So right now, if you look at tithe based on the income coming in, I think we're at 400%. But who's counting at this point, because money is simply a human number. It's an energy exchange, and God can provide in any way. He always does when you act by faith in what He said to do.
Ashley James (0:33:21.950)
Manna from heaven. I've got two stories, two true stories to share about my dad. Incredible man. Love him dearly. Can't wait to meet him again in heaven. He started his own business. He didn't go to college, started his own business. Such a smart man.
He surrounded himself with incredibly smart people as well. He figured out how to design a stereo speaker, the kind you'd have in your home, high-end entertainment, that would make spatial sound—three-dimensional sound. This was in the nineties with only two speakers. Just two speakers. You'd have two speakers in the front of the room and you'd hear things beside you, behind you, above you, and below you. You would hear spatial sound.
The company was called Nuance and it was bigger in Canada. He didn't really break into the U.S. market.
He went to the CES show and he'd compete and he'd win. My dad was so awesome.
He was a man of faith and I learned a lot about what it is to love God from him. He had the most beautiful faith. He would just free fall into trusting God with money at times. It was amazing how he would be caught by God. So I'd see this.
My dad, when he was older, would mentor a lot of people, a lot of over 200 salesmen, and he would mentor them. Then even when they left the company, he would stay in touch, no hard feelings, you move on, and he'd mentor.
There was this one guy out in Western Canada. We lived in Toronto, which is more Eastern. The guy was out in the West and he hadn't worked for my dad for a while, but he stayed in touch. He calls up my dad and my dad's like, how are you doing? How's it been? We haven't talked in a little bit. He says, George, I'm in my car. I am homeless. My family and I are living in our car and I don't know what to do. He wasn't calling to beg for money or work. He was just sort of at his wits end. He goes, he's sort of hit a dead end. He goes, I don't know what to do. I'm sitting here and I just can't see any possibility or any opportunities.
My dad described this mindset he was in. He was in such a pessimistic mindset that he was blind to the possibilities, to the opportunities around him. Mindset can do that. We can cut ourselves off from that flow of abundance coming into our lives.
He was in the southern part of the province and this aunt lived in the northern part of the province. My dad said, what happened to your aunt who you told me about? She was getting on in her years and she said if you would move and come live with her and take care of her, she would will the house to you and you could live in the house if you took care of her. My dad had this great memory for remembering these little things about people's lives. Maybe God spoke to him and reminded him of that. But all of a sudden, this man was in shock. He goes, I can't believe I forgot about that. Then he calls up his aunt and makes the arrangements and moves up there. Now he and his family have a home.
Sometimes that is us. Sometimes it's us and our mindset cutting ourselves off. There are literally possibilities and opportunities trying to bang down the door for us, but we have to be the ones to see it, to invite it in.
My other story is from back in 2010. Right at the beginning of 2010, the industry that my husband worked in totally dried up because of the housing crisis. He'd gone from working 20 years straight to having no work. He thought, let's take a few weeks off, get on unemployment, see what happens. It's probably going to bounce back. Well, it doesn't bounce back.
At that time, I had recently left a career I was in to try to just reassess and decide what direction I was going to go in life. So now we have $400 coming in every week from unemployment and we have two mortgages, two car payments, you name it. That $400 is not going to cover it. At this point, we're newly married, just two years into our marriage, and don't have kids yet. We decided to get creative, have some fun with it.
We'd been playing with eBay. eBay is reverse gambling. You post something on eBay and then watch the money go up as people bid on it. So it's, yes, this is fun. Reverse gambling. You're selling something. You're watching the money go up instead of the money leaving you. It's a lot of fun. So we had played with eBay, but we decided to, because we're creative, build bat houses. Now, of course, my Canadian accent makes it impossible for Americans to understand what I said. So it's a birdhouse for bats. Americans think I say bat hoses. Bat houses. We'd never really experimented with this, but we were receiving this information from God: just go build bat houses. We're like, okay. We started posting them on eBay and making about $14 in profit per house after all the expenses, which was fun.
I had this little app on my phone. In the early days of smartphones, the PayPal eBay app would go cha-ching when a sale was made, meaning money had entered our account. We had a little MasterCard attached to our PayPal, a PayPal MasterCard. So the second a sale happened, we had access to some money. Now we had to use some money, obviously put aside for more materials to build these bat houses and for shipping. But we could immediately have access to some money.
We had zero. There were many days, literally zero money in bank accounts. We'd need some gas for the car, we're low on fuel, and have no money. I'd say, listen, we can't be in fear. We have to be in faith. The moment we would get in faith, that cha-ching would happen. We would feel the shift. We'd get into faith and cha-ching would happen. That little sound would happen, meaning a sale just happened.
Whenever we got in fear—how are we going to pay the electricity bill tomorrow or whatever—anytime we got into fear, the sales would literally stop in their tracks for days. Then I'd sit down and say, we're praying right now. When we got really desperate, because the sales had stopped for days and we were out, because we had been in fear and we let the fear creep in, I remember sitting there on the couch and I went into prayer and I said, I believe. I believe God moves in my life. I just let that fear go 100%. Let faith fill me. Then I got an email from a company. It was a co-op of farmers on the East Coast that had somehow found us because we had a website. We built a website and everything. This little obscure website had no SEO. We ended up doing one interview on some alternative media, so maybe they found us through that. But they found us, and they ordered 35 bat houses that day. They cut us a check.
This was it, over and over again. So then what would happen, this was in the course of five, six months that we were doing this, we would go to the grocery store and literally we would have just maybe enough for those groceries, but we didn't have enough for the gas for the ride home. It was, okay, God, I know you gave enough for the food that we're buying today, but we don't have enough for the food in two days from now. We're just buying enough because this is all we have. But we don't even have enough to get home and the gas.
We go, okay, we're getting in faith. Then, and this would happen literally every single time, we would swipe the card to purchase groceries and one or two cha-ching, cha-ching. The sales would come in and refill the empty account every time we did it. We noticed if we were just staying in faith, the moment we needed it, it would come in.
I don't want to say the word magical as in Disney magic—but magical as in connection to God magic. Where you're feeling that spirit-filled experience of when we're in fear, we literally cut off flow. It's not because God is taking it away from us, it's because we are cutting off God. We are cutting off our connection to His abundance when we allow fear to run in our life.
That was this really cool experience and a lesson, which we have to keep relearning. I don't know why. I joke, why am I so dumb? I have to keep relearning this. But we have to keep relearning it and remembering, no, we've got to shift our state, get in faith, ask God to be in our life and connect with us. Especially in times when we get dumb and focus on the wrong thing—fear.

Beatty Carmichael (0:43:38.980)
That is really cool. What a great story. It's the same thing that happened. So when we lost that large account and we put everyone on reduced pay, that was an act of fear. In fear, everything shifted. But once we then believed and acted by faith, everything changed.
In fact, we see this with the Apostle Peter. You remember Peter walking on the water. So as a scientist, as a marketer, you're always doing split A-B tests so you can see what works and what doesn't. Look at the impact of just your belief. By the way, this is important because you can choose to believe and you can choose to doubt. It's all your choice.
We see this when Jesus is walking on the water, the apostles get afraid and Peter says, Lord, if that's you, command me to come out on the water and walk with you. So Jesus says, come. Now we have a word of the Lord that Peter now has the opportunity to believe and obey. So he gets out of the boat and starts walking on the water towards Jesus.
Then it says he looks at the wind. Now you can't see wind, but what's happening is there's this huge storm, windstorm. The waves are probably, I would say, three, four, maybe even five feet tall. There's some background in the scriptures that indicate this. So what he's seeing is that there is this lot of spray coming off of the waves and that's what he's seeing.
He looked at the wind and he doubts and he sinks. He says, Jesus save me. Jesus picks him up and this is what Jesus says: Why did you doubt? So when Jesus said, why did you doubt, that means it was in His power not to doubt.
But notice the other thing that happens. When he did not doubt, the miracle occurred. When he did doubt out of fear, the miracle ceased. That's the same thing that you were just sharing about your money. When you stop acting in fear, ching ching, ching ching, it keeps coming in. Then when you start to operate in fear, we get the consequences of crickets not money. That’s faith.
Ashley James (0:46:15.719)
This spills over into every aspect of our life like health.
Beatty Carmichael (0:46:18.725)
Like health. So let's bring it back to health on how that works.
Faith in its most pure form is obedience. I've seen people healed simply because they obeyed, not because they believed. In fact, I'll be honest, almost everyone going through the prayer of freedom doesn't believe it's going to work. They hope it does, but you cannot say that they have faith at all.
I remember I was in one of my classes at the addiction recovery center. I'm teaching. This was just a couple months ago I think. One of these young women there is rubbing her temple. She's up on the front row basically of the classroom. She's rubbing her temple, rubbing her legs, and she's not even looking at me. You can tell that she's totally distracted. I'm teaching but she keeps grabbing my attention. So I literally stop teaching and I say, excuse me, are you okay?
She said, I just hurt. She said, my head hurts, my feet hurt. And I said, well, do you want God to heal you? She goes, well, yes. That's okay. Well, let me guide you in prayer. So I just guided her in the simple prayer asking God to reveal if there's anything she needs to repent of or person to forgive and going through that, and the pain instantly leaves. Now she's stunned.
I go back to teaching, no big deal, it happens every time. For me it's no big deal. I forget how impactful it is to the person who's never experienced it. For me this is just normal. So I go back to teaching and I look at her again and she's not paying any attention either. She's now dumbfounded. She's got little tears coming down her eyes. She's rubbing her legs but not out of pain—it’s really gone.
After about five minutes she gets up and she leaves, walks out of the room halfway through the class. Then she comes back after class is over and everyone's gone. She says, Mr. Carmichael, I'm sorry I left but I've just been crying this whole time. I couldn't believe that God loved me enough that He took all this pain away.
She didn't believe that she would be healed but by faith she obeyed and simply repented. That's what I find in this great part about faith. The prayer of faith will save someone and heal them. Confess your sins and you'll be healed. That's what it says in James. What he's talking about is earlier in James. James says, say you have faith without works? I'll show you my faith by my works. In other words, I'll show you the manifestation of faith by doing what God said to do.
That's part of the great command: teach my people to do all that I've commanded you. One of the big things He commands is to repent. So that's the cool thing about healing.
I don't know how long you want to go, but I'd love to share about how the mechanics spiritually of how healing works.
Ashley James (0:49:43.362)
Yes, don't look at the clock. This interview is not over yet. I'm not letting you go that easily.
Beatty Carmichael (0:49:48.968)
All right, great. Sorry, listeners, this is going to be one that you'll listen to all week long.
Ashley James (0:49:54.158)
Sorry not sorry. Actually, I've had listeners say it took me a whole week to listen to that episode but it was worth it and it was so good.
I've also had people say, because we transcribe these, I listened to the episode and then I went and read the transcript three times and took notes.
These are my listeners. They want deep. So thank you.
Beatty Carmichael (0:50:16.894)
Well, I want to brag about you to your listeners. There's a service online called ListenNotes and using their algorithms, they can identify those shows that have really high engagement. Ashley, you have one of the highest engagements and you have the longest duration episodes. You got really good listeners, so they're really engaged. I appreciate that.
So let me share the mechanics, but I want to bring you up to how I started to understand them, because this will help everyone understand what's really going on. When I had my gift of healing, I no longer have it, but when I had my gift of healing, I saw initially 30% of the people, right about one third, 30% somewhere in there, instantly healed, but mostly on pain stuff.
At the time, I was taking for the last 20 years, one day a month off from work. I did it on a Friday, I turned the business over to the Lord and said, I'm just gonna spend time with you. I call it my day of prayer. Over time, the Lord started to direct me to fast on that one day a month on His day of prayer. I began increasing that fast to begin at dinner time Thursday until dinner time Friday. So I'd eat dinner Thursday and then it'd be water only until dinner time Friday.
On this particular day, after I got my gift of healing, I was testing all kinds of things trying to figure out how do I improve this? I realized that if Jesus had prayed for those people, 100% would be healed. So there was something different between me and Jesus.
I kept pressing in on what I saw in God's Word and just different things. One day I went out and 90% of the people were healed. They were healed faster, more dramatically, and a wider range of things than I'd ever seen before. This was a year into my gift of healing. So I'd been fasting for years, but only one day a month.
I say, sorry, I analyzed, what happened? Anytime something changes, you go back to what's different today than earlier. It hit me. Yesterday, because I go out on Saturday, that Friday, the day before, was my day of prayer, which means I didn't eat since Thursday. Moving into my day of prayer, I thought, I'm praying, I'm going out to pray for people tomorrow on Saturday. I'm going to keep fasting just to see what happens.
That was the only shift. So I said, I'm going to test this. So the next Saturday that I was going out, I'd go out probably once or twice a month whenever I was home on Saturdays. The next time I went out, I purposely did not fast. I was back down to one third. Then the next time I purposely fasted starting Thursday night at dinner and ending after I prayed for people Saturday morning. It was back up to 90%. So ha ha, fasting is important to operate into the supernatural.
I started to, by the way for our listeners, I have an app called Get Radical Faith. It's a free app, it's on your app store. It's all my in-depth Bible teaching. In one of the teachings I was talking about how do you hear God speak to you? One of the clearest things you can do if you're ever wanting to hear Him speak more clearly is fast.
If you have some sort of a sin in your life—pornography addiction or you're always blowing up in anger or anything like that—fast one day a week and it'll start to take all that stuff out because fasting moves you into the spiritual realm and away from the flesh. I can get into it but in my teaching on my app I talk about that and what fasting does and give you some biblical examples. But I started to fast and I started to see increased results by triple— increased results of the number of people being healed, how fast they were being healed, one-time prayer instead of multiple prayers to heal.
I saw a wider range and harder things to heal. Then I remember God prompted me to start fasting on a Friday and I said, okay I'll fast, maybe something's gonna happen tomorrow, Saturday. I was thinking I was going to break my fast and God said, no, keep fasting.
So I didn't know what's going on and then Sunday I got a call from one of the ladies I prayed for at Walmart and she's in the lower-income side of town and she has demonic torment. She said, will you come cast demons out of me? I said, okay. Up to that point, God had been putting on my heart deliverance ministry, the casting out of demons. To relax from a long day of work as I was going to bed, I'd sit in bed, pull out my computer, and watch deliverances. “Get out in Jesus' name” and the demon spirit goes, manifesting to this person.
For me, it was just kind of set my nerves at ease. I started to relax. My wife hated it. My kids hated it because they'd come in and I'm watching deliverance and casting out demons. That's how I went to sleep. So I kind of understood what to expect, but I'd never done it before. I went over to her house with my wife.
Sunday afternoon and my first deliverance was a full-on manifestation, meaning Alexis, the woman, let me give a breakdown how this works spiritually. So we're spirit, soul, and body, But our soul is who we are. It's our mind, will, emotions, our personality. Our body in very simple terms is how our soul moves around in the earthly realm. So it's just a container, a demon spirit, Ephesians 6-12 tells us that our battle is in the spiritual realm. The living Bible says it this way, we do not wrestle, we do not battle against people of flesh and blood, but we battle against persons without bodies. So if you think of a person, who you are, the person of Beatty Carmichael and the person of Ashley James is our soul. Our body is just what we look like .
So if you take the body away, now you have a person without a body. That's essentially what a demon spirit is. Except a demon spirit is pure evil. It's only evil and it's a person without a body. So when someone has demons and they're demonized, what they have is other persons living within their body that can take over that body if they're given enough energy, enough strength.
This is when someone's allowed it to happen long enough that now those, the more you give into, giving into sin, that these spirits kind of lure you into, the stronger they get to the point that they can actually overtake your body. That's what happened with Alexis. The Lord, I knew how to do deliverance, four simple steps. You identify the spirit, you interrogate it to find its legal right to be there, you break that legal right and then you command it out.
So the first step is I'm there with Alexis and I say, God bring up the first demon spirit you want me to handle. All of a sudden Alexis's appearance changes. She goes out of the picture, she goes into the trench, she doesn't remember any of this and the eyes change, the voice and the personality change and this another person takes over her body. So it's a full on manifestation.
Every sin, when you interrogate the spirits and ask what is their legal right, 100% of the time it's an unrepented sin. So I'd command the spirit to go down and then I would command Alexis to come back up. Now Alexis is taking over her body and I say I need you to repent of this sin. She does. Then I command her back down, Alexis go down and now spirit such and such come back up and now I'm talking to the spirit. So it's back and forth and then you can cast these spirits out.

I want to give some illustrations of how this works. I was working with another man named Josh. He's 32 years old at this time. He asked me to help him because his life is just in turmoil and has been for years. So I go over to do a deliverance and in this case, all the other deliverances God taught me. God's using deliverance as training wheels to teach me how true healing works.
So after the full-on manifestation, all the other deliverances I've done, the spirits have only spoken to the mind of the person and they did not take over their bodies. That's what was going on with Josh. So the first spirit that the Lord brings up, I say, Josh, tell me anything you hear in your mind and just relay it to me. He says, I hear Seth. So I say, Seth, is that you?
Josh says, yes. He says, Seth, what is your role? He said, my role is the gatekeeper. In the spirit realm, the gatekeeper, if you think of the city of Jerusalem in King David's time, it's a walled city and it has a gate. The gatekeeper is a low-level military person, but very high responsibility because during wartime, if he leaves the gate open, then the enemy can come in and take care of the city. So his job is to keep the city protected.
In the spirit realm, in the demonic spirit realm, it's just the opposite. The role of the gatekeeper is to open the gate and let the enemy in. So I said, what is your legal right? Now, the legal right is their legal authority to be in that person. If you remember the story with Job and Satan, Satan said, you put a hedge around him and you won't let me attack him. Satan, as the accuser of the brethren, did not have a legal right against Job because he was without sin. So sin is what gives the legal right.
So I was asking Seth, what is your legal right to be there? He said, Josh played with a Ouija board at age seven. I said, what are you talking about? Josh said, I didn't do it. I didn't want anything to do with it. Josh knew exactly what was going on. He said, my sister was playing with a Ouija board. I didn't want anything to do with it but she communicated to me through it. In other words, he was watching that little one move around on the board and he was spelling it out to see what it was spelling.
That little bit of participation was all it took for this low-level spirit, Seth, to come in. That was the beginning, 25 years of destruction into Josh's life because Seth was now the spirit that brought other spirits into his life. Then another spirit came out. So once I had Josh repent of playing with a Ouija board, then you could get Seth out.
Then another one that I called up. I think his name was—and just to be specific and precise—let me just pull this up real quick, because I use this in my teaching. It's really interesting, and what I want you to see in this part of stuff is how benign it seems to us, some of these issues are that cause these spirits to come into people's lives. It will really blow your mind when you really understand how little a sin is that God says is big enough to create havoc.
So the next one to share is another one named Sledge. I said, Sledge, what's your role? He said, my role is to drive despair. I said, well, what's your legal right? He said, Josh doubts in God's goodness. So I said, what are you talking about, Josh? He said, everything's been so horrible all these lives. I keep praying to God. He doesn't change it. He knows God can, but he doesn't. Therefore, I just doubt how good God really is.
So doubting God's goodness is a sin. So I led Josh to repent of doubting in God's goodness. I could get Sledge out.
Next one was Mordecai. I said, Mordecai, what's your role? He said, my role is to discourage. I said, what's your legal right? He says, greed and covetousness. So I led Josh into repenting of greed and covetousness. You could get out Mordecai.
Here's another interesting one. A couple of things to share on this guy. One of these guys was a missionary. By the way, every deliverance I've done has been with a born-again believer. Some people say believers can't have demons. That's only someone who's never cast demons out ever from anyone.
This guy's name is Jeff. He's on staff with a guy with a ministry called Campus Crusade for Christ, we're now called CRU. He'd been on the field for 15 years leading people to Jesus and he has demons.
The first demon that God brings up there is a guy named Gilead. I said, Gilead, what is your role? He said, I'm the gatekeeper to keep Jeff in bondage. So it's always good to get the gatekeeper. I said, what's your legal right? Get this, because a lot of your listeners out there this is going to resonate. He says pain in his heart through abandonment from his mother and family as a child.
So when I teach at the addiction recovery center, most of those women have been abandoned in some form and that's what happened with Jeff. I said, Jeff, what's going on? He said, my mother really didn't love me. She would always leave me alone and I was just kind of abandoned, emotionally abandoned. That abandonment in his heart was a legal right that allowed a demonic spirit, Gilead, to come in and start to invite other spirits into his life.
So he got him to repent of that, got Gilead out. Another one that came up was Julian. I said, Julian, what's your role? He said, my role is to keep Jeff in pain. It was this pain in his legs that the doctors couldn't find any symptom of why it's there that I was getting involved with him. I said, what's your legal right? Now this is going to be really strange. He said, idolatry.
Now I'm helping a missionary who's on the field for 15 years leading people to Christ and this made no sense, idolatry. So I actually had to ask Julian again. I said, explain, I don't understand. Julian said, worship of other gods.
I still don't know what you're saying because Jeff only worships the one true God. Explain further. He said, prayer or worship to saints in the Catholic Church. Wow. Now before my Catholic friends get upset, I want to explain what happened.
First off, I asked Jeff what's he talking about? Jeff said, I grew up in Brazil and we used to pray to this saint. Here's what's interesting. I'm sure in Brazil he prayed to multiple saints because Catholics prayed to many saints. I grew up Protestant. I no longer claim Protestant or Catholicism. I'm probably mystic if you were to describe me more specifically. Catholics will pray to Saint so-and-so for this, another Saint for that.
But it's interesting, Jeff knew exactly the Saint that was being talked about.
This is what I find a lot of times is when the root comes up through this type of approach and deliverance. It's very clear to the person exactly what that legal right was. So I had him repent of that and we got Julian out.
Then as a side note, I started doing my prayer of freedom. I got a lot of information from Catholic exorcists, especially on curse breaking and generational curse. They do a lot of exorcism and they were a wonderful resource. They're all born-again believers, what Protestants would call born again. They all had the Holy Spirit living in them, they're saved and all that stuff.
I was asking one of them, Father Spotswood, who's in one of my acknowledgments in my book, I was asking him to help me understand something. He said, I know it's okay to pray to saints because God honors it. It's clear in your life and the lives of so many of my Christian Catholic friends. But I cast the spirit out that said it was praying to a saint that has a legal right.
I said, now this guy did come from Brazil because I thought that was important. He said, ah, that's the issue. He said in Brazil, the Catholicism in Brazil is syncretism because they've syncretized it with other religions down there and it's gotten corrupted.
So a lot of times, demon spirits will masquerade as a saint, and as they pray to saints, they think they're praying to a saint, and they're actually praying to a demon. So that's what happened here with Jeff and Julian.
Ashley James (1:08:50.188)
Well, pause for a sec. So, I hung out with some of my super-duper Catholic friends this year. One of them is a deacon, and we had some really great discussions. I grew up Anglican, similar to Protestant. Now I don't say I'm Anglican. I'm more like you. I'm a follower of Jesus and I look to the Bible for guidance, for the word. I'm looking for the word, not interpretation of interpretation. I want the source. I'm developing. I'm not looking for religion. I'm looking for communion.
So, and community. I have a great church now that's a Bible-based church. They're all about communion and community, and it's really beautiful. I listen to a bunch of different teachings and pastors out there. I love what you're teaching. This is great. I can't wait to dive into more of your material, your app and your book. Just a little plug, the PrayerofFreedomBook.com, right, your website. Then that app is Get Radical Faith, the app, which I'm excited to dive into.
In talking with my deacon friend, it's never sat well with me, the idea that we would pray to say, okay, go say 10 Hail Marys. I didn't understand it. I've also struggled with—and I get that, and I've talked to God about this—God, I get, you don't have to unveil the universe to me for me to have faith. I'm not demanding. It would be so cool, sure, show me the secrets of the universe, I'm all for it, but my faith does not require you.
It does not require understanding. But I always felt this weird conflict. This was a few years ago, maybe three or four years ago, I was just having this conflict. I just didn't quite get the Holy Trinity. Just something wasn't sitting. You say Jesus is separate, but Jesus is God. I was having this real dilemma, this conflict. Something wasn’t sitting. God, you don't have to explain the universe to me. But I prayed.
I remember exactly where I was. I remember I was driving and I'd had this feeling inside for a while. I just said, could you please remove the conflict in my heart? I don't have to understand, but I want you to unveil yourself to me. I want to grow closer to you. I want to understand in your time. I'm not demanding you make me understand now, but could you please remove the conflict so at least I could be open-minded to receiving your word. I felt that conflict was really preventing me.

I think a lot of people go in wanting to learn more, but then this part of faith or this part of their experience in a church or in a religion or this one scripture doesn't sit well with them and maybe they don't fully understand it. A big example would be if Jesus was in perfect union with God, then why on the cross did he say, God, you forsaken me? That never sat well with so many of my friends, with me.
Until I learned, even with one of my really close friends who is very, very, super-duper mega-Christian, it never sat well with him either. He's studied the Bible to the point where he learned Greek to go back and read, understand the original New Testament. That one phrase that Jesus says sounds like he's saying he's separate from God and that he believes God's forsaken him. So it's, well, that just doesn't mesh with or jive with anything that Jesus was saying his whole ministry. That just doesn't make sense.
Here's why. We have to understand the culture. Back then, Psalms did not have numbers. There were no numbers. How people quoted Psalms back then was by saying the first sentence of the psalm, or the first or second little phrase of the psalm. Then we knew, oh, you're talking about this psalm. He was not on the cross saying, oh, Father, why have you forsaken me? He wasn't saying that. He was saying to everyone, Psalm 22, go read Psalm 22.
Oh, it's Jesus. It's the story of Jesus. They're casting lots for my clothing. What does that mean? The whole thing is Jesus was identifying to everyone as he's dying on the cross. Here's a psalm written 400 years ago or whatever about him and his story and the resurrection and the promise given to us and our redemption, the redemption that we receive through Jesus.
Here's the thing. That is one of those instances where the past, how we talked about how on the quantum level your experience can change, your experience in the now can actually influence the past and influence the future. Now all of a sudden, my entire timeline in my body of my entire life shifted.
The thing is, it'll get revealed to you. Things will get revealed, but you have to ask, you have to look. When you identify conflict inside yourself, instead of just saying, don't throw the baby out with the bathwater, instead of saying, well, this one experience in a church, this one pastor says to me, I didn't like, or I read this one thing in the Bible, I heard this one thing and I didn't get it, or maybe a friend had a bad experience, so I'm not even going to go there. If we have conflict inside our heart, the word doesn't get revealed to us. The message doesn't come to us. We are blocking it.
Just how when you hold on to fear, when you hold on to conflict, it's when you hold on to, I don't understand it, I don't like it, something doesn't feel good. That's what I mean by conflict. It doesn't feel like it should mesh. You become one with it. When everything is good, you're reading it, you get goosebumps, you get filled with the Holy Spirit. You're like, yes, this is God. God has written this for me. I feel it. It just totally becomes one with my being.
When there's a conflict, it's the like thorn in the lion's paw. You can feel it. So I asked God, please remove this conflict in my heart so I can receive.
He did. And as I was driving, He immediately removed it. I felt the total relief of the conflict. Okay. I still don't understand. I still won't fully understand. Is Jesus 100% God? Is he the son? He's sitting at these. I don't understand that. I still don't fully get it, but I love Jesus. I love God and I know he loves me. Whether it's two people, one people, it's okay. I don't have to get it on the mental level. I don't have to get everything.
I'm here to receive his love, his teachings, and what he wants. What I really want is just that I just ask him, I want a deep relationship with you. I invite you in. We invite, we invoke spirits into our life through our behavior, which is what you're amplifying, what you're showing based on our focus. So if we're focused on chasing money or chasing drugs or chasing alcohol or chasing women or men or whatever, our focus is what we are invoking in our life.
The Bible talks about how the power of word, that we're casting spells, literally creating our reality, but we're inviting more of what we focus on. So we focus on fear and negativity, and we're inviting more of that. It's seen in neurology, in how the brain functions in the reticular activating system. It's seen in science, what we've already known for many years in spirituality.
I would definitely invite listeners who aren't believers just to have that faith to invite Jesus into their hearts, to get to know him. Hey, that doesn't mean you're a Christian. You don't have to say you're a Christian, but you can have a relationship with someone who loves you, and God is the most amazing relationship you'll ever, ever have because He's pure love. Pure love.
It doesn't still make sense to most of us why there's sin. Well, if He's pure love, then why is there this? That's a long conversation. But a lot of people make the mistake of believing, well, because there's sin, God isn't a good God. Because there's sin, God isn't pure love. That's where we're, again, invoking and opening ourselves up to receiving the possessions or the thought forms or the entities that are here to confuse us further, to pull us under into that very hurtful world.
It's a lonely place when we feel separated from God's love. But it's up to us and we have the power, which is so exciting with what you're teaching. Everyone listening has the power to choose love, to shift, to repent, to shift it, to get it out, and to reconnect. So it's exciting.
My point is that I think people still have conflict. Many people have conflict or they're not as clearly walking the path with Jesus. That's not everyone. For those who aren't, you have a starting point. This is exciting. It's exciting for everyone. It's an opportunity to shift. We see it in quantum physics that our words make vibration. Vibration is energy. We are also vibration and we are also energy.
Just by being in that possibility instead of being in fear, and even by going through releasing guilt and shame and by doing the process of forgiveness for yourself, for others, for asking for it and receiving it, you are releasing so much and that negative hold on you. I think that's so exciting. It's so beautiful.
Beatty Carmichael (1:20:16.471)
It really is. You're mentioning that you have to invite the Spirit in. This is the interesting thing. I was asking someone, how is Jesus like Satan? The simple answer is, you have to invite them in. If you want Jesus in your life, you invite him in.
If you want evil in your life, you invite it in. The difference is we normally don't consciously invite evil in, but we do things that are contrary to God and it allows evil in. We have to give them a legal right. In fact, it's really interesting. In the whole world of demonization, I don't use the word demon possessed, I use demonized.
For clarification for some of our Christian friends who want clarity, here's the way I see it. The Catholic Church uses demon possession, not that a demon possesses someone's soul, even if they're a believer, but that they possess and take over the control of the body. That's their actual term of possession—when the demon spirit will control the body.
What happened in my first deliverance with Alexis, those demon spirits were possessing control of her body. That would be a possession. Demonization is when they impact you because they're in you. They have a legal right to you, but they aren't strong enough yet to control and take over your body. Many of us are demonized in some form.
We've unwittingly and unknowingly opened the door and invited them in. Paul says in Romans 6, I think it's Romans 6, if you do not submit your members to sin as instruments of sin, but submit your members to God as instruments of righteousness. It says if you submit to sin, you become the slave of sin. So when we submit to temptation, there's a spirit out there.
See if this makes sense. See if you can picture this. Let's say there's a spirit of anger and that spirit wants control and to influence you and to have legal right to you. So he's hovering around and he's doing things in your life to get you really upset. Finally, you blow up on something. A series of events: your alarm didn't go off, you're running late to work, you take a shower, the hot water isn't working.
Ashley James (1:22:59.669)
Your kid's not listening to you.
Beatty Carmichael (1:23:01.675)
Yes, everything about it. When you get out the door, you're frazzled. Then you spill your coffee in your lap. You have to go back home. Eventually you snap and you blow up in anger. Now you submitted yourself to sin because that spirit is anger personified. That's all it does—it amplifies.
We don't think we talked about the three types of spirits I've seen, but you've got the amplification spirit, which is anger. Once you give into it, it now comes into you. You've invited it in unknowingly because you gave it a legal right by submitting to it. Now you become its slave. Anger as a spirit starts to inflame and amplify your anger and you get angry all the time. Every time you give into that urge to get angry and blow up at someone, it gets stronger and stronger.
If you don't check it, then what happens is it just makes you angry—so angry all the time that you're just an angry person. Then you multiply that by all the other negative emotions. Every negative emotion is actually a spirit of that emotion. It's interesting. Lust, anxiety, depression, fear, lethargy—all of these things are spirits that drive and amplify themselves. So you can invite them in unknowingly by giving them a legal right.
Then you go back, and you get rid of the legal right, and it all disappears. That's the healing process. What I started to see when I was doing deliverance is that when I would cast a spirit out, the symptom of what that spirit was doing in that person's life would leave. I started to see that you cast a spirit out and they were instantly healed of whatever that issue was.
As I was going out and praying for people and using the gift of healing, commanding healing to occur, the Lord started to connect in my mind that it was the same event. It was a spirit leaving. You see this in scripture. One example: Peter’s mother-in-law is lying in bed with a fever. Jesus comes over, and it says, Jesus rebuked the fever and it instantly left.
His mother-in-law got up and served them. You don't rebuke a thing, you rebuke an entity. So the fact that he rebuked it means it was a person. The word rebuke in almost every case in the New Testament is always talking about a person, either a human person or a spirit person. When he's rebuking the fever, he's actually commanding a spirit of fever out.
When I was out there praying for people and healing them, God made it very clear that the reason it was an instant healing was because the spirit leaving had caused the issue.
About three years ago, I was still at 90% because I'm fasting all the time as I go out and pray for people. Then one day I'm out there praying for people—90% being healed. Two weeks later I go back out, and only 10% are being healed. I said, oh my gosh, what just happened? Nothing went on.
So I went back to God and said, what happened? He said, I took your gift of healing away. I said, why did you do that? He said, now I want you to learn to do it by authority. Having come through deliverance, I understood exactly what he meant—that these were spirits, they had an authority to be there, and now I needed to take away that authority, that legal right for them to be there.
So I went back out to Walmart and this time I changed my tactic. Rather than commanding healing and I was the one doing it, I led them into a prayer of repentance. I didn't have this well perfected, so I had them repent of everything. It was three or four minutes of: repent of anger, I repent of lust, I repent of this, I repent of that, I forgive anyone who's hurt me, and all the way down the line. Then we would ask God to heal them, and they got healed. I thought, wow, this is cool.
As I started to perfect it, I began to see more dramatic things. COPD, which I could never heal with my gift of healing, started to leave, along with other conditions. Over time I started to notice patterns of where these sins were. I created in the Prayer of Freedom a guide where you actually make a list of unrepented sins based on categories.
I found about 18 different categories: unforgiveness, sexual sin, the occult, word curses, pride, idolatry—things like that. You start to repent of those in a systematic format. Now people were getting healed of even more things. I'm seeing addiction go. I've seen all kinds of relationship challenges that were destroying family life calm down.

I've seen issues with children. There's this one lady at an addiction recovery center. Stop me if I said this, because this is my third show today and I forget which stories I've told where. But there's this lady named Ashlyn. She was raped at six and seven years old by her uncle and her dad. She immediately went into what we would diagnose as mental illness: anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, borderline personality disorder.
By the time she was at the addiction recovery center where I was teaching, now in her mid-20s, she was on 400 milligrams a day of an anxiety-reducing medication—200 milligrams in the morning, 200 at night. By the way, every time I mention this to anyone dealing with mental health, they say, my gosh, that's a lot. She was really torn up. She was also on two other medications.
Her two daughters, one at one year old and the other at three and a half, were both diagnosed with asthma and were using inhalers more than the doctor prescribed because it was that bad. She goes through this Prayer of Freedom process.
I don't pray with them. I give them the book, they do the work, and they do it all on their own. I want them to know this has nothing to do with me and that this is something they can carry on for life—not only to stay free but also to help their family get free. She said the day she went through this, the next morning she woke up and everything was gone. She was totally normal. She went to the psychiatrist there at the recovery center.
She said, I feel normal, do I still have to take all these meds? He said, no, if you feel normal, don't take them. That was six months ago, I think. She hadn't taken any of the meds. The other thing she saw was her children, who were diagnosed with asthma and taking the inhalers—the asthma instantly disappeared as well. It was one of these sins, the sins of the fathers visited to the third and fourth generation. It was one of those things based on Ashlyn's sin.
Tormenting her children, when she repented of that stuff, her children were healed. All of this is tied into this bigger picture that sin creates consequence, and that consequence is in some way a form of God's discipline in our lives to bring us to the point of repentance. Once we repent, these spirits leave, and now those things that they were doing in our life are restored.
Then when you go back to the doctor, the doctor can't find any evidence of it ever being there. Either it was just a spiritual torment that manifested something that the doctors could see, or God supernaturally reverses and restores all that the thief has stolen from you. I'm not sure what the mechanic part of it is, but it's clear there's no medical evidence that this stuff ever existed once people go through that most of the time. It's really been miraculous.
Ashley James (1:31:40.441)
So cool. I love it. I love it so much. Did you talk about the three types of the spirits?
Beatty Carmichael (1:31:53.377)
I don't think so, so let's do that. So I started to learn this when I was doing deliverance. In deliverance, the type of deliverance I was doing, you would have the Holy Spirit bring up each demon at a time. This is really interesting. Let me share something more about this demonic kingdom just to understand. I was mentioning that every time you give in to that temptation of that Spirit, it strengthens the Spirit.
Eventually it's so strong you cannot resist it. To give you a better picture of what's actually happening is if we understand their term “legal right” and being accused in a courtroom, the heavenly courtroom, we're being prosecuted for each sin that we do. The way we would describe it in human terms is each indictment. So let me see if this makes sense. I rob a bank, I go in the bank, I park my car outside, leave it running, run in, I have a gun, I tell everyone to get down and steal money from each person, I point the gun at each person, I say, I'm gonna shoot you if you don't give me your money. I take all the money from everyone in the teller, I hop in the car, I race out there, I screech off, I run the red light and I'm racing down, they finally catch me. That one act creates probably 13 or 15 or 20 indictments. Attempted harm and assault with a deadly weapon for each person in there, attempted robbery for each person. In other words, every single law that I broke for each and every single person, including speeding, running red lights and everything, those are what I'm being accused of.
So now I have to defend myself against each indictment of every time I break the law. In the spiritual realm, it's identical. When we're accused of sin, it's every sin we commit. So what happens in the demonic world is when I first give in to a sin, this example I'm going to use is suicide. When I first open the door and say, I wish I were dead, or I could just kill myself, then that allows a spirit of suicide to come in. Every time I have that thought and kind of give in to playing on that thought, it's now another sin that allows another spirit of suicide to come in and it strengthens the main spirit.
So you have a prince demon, which is the first one. Every time you give into the temptation, another little demon comes in and increases the prince's power. With that as a backdrop, you have what's called a kingdom within the demonic realm. As I'm interrogating the spirits that I'm casting out, in a deliverance ministry I would always ask the spirit, do you have other spirits in your kingdom? Yes. How many are in your kingdom? Sometimes it's five, sometimes it's twenty. One demon said, it's too many to count. My name is Legion. Just like in the Bible times.
But I remember with Alexis, one of the spirits I was interrogating was a spirit of suicide. It was very cocky. I said, how many demons do you have in your kingdom? He said, I have 80 to make sure she kills herself. So what's happening is every time we sin it opens the door to this.
Now the good part in getting rid of this stuff—we don't have to remember every single time that we break God's standard within that category. All we really have to do is remember the first time that let him in. In other words, when I cast the Prince Demon out, all of his kingdom goes with him. All that kingdom is doing is making him stronger and stronger and stronger, but the real issue is that first one.
So you have within this kingdom, within this spiritual realm, we have demonic spirits. They're the worst of the lot because they are there with a mind, will, and emotion to simply destroy. Sometimes they are there as a kind, okay? They do only one thing. Other times they come in. If you play with the occult or there's witchcraft, a lot of times it's what I call a wild card. They can do anything they want to because they're on assignment and that assignment is simply to sabotage your life. Then another type of spirit that's there is what I call an amplifier.
This spirit only comes in and amplifies that. Sometimes it's a demon spirit that's limited only to that activity, just to anger, and creates anger. But sometimes it's another type of spirit that may not be a demon, but it's still a spirit and it simply amplifies whatever issue you've got going on. So if you start to get afraid, it may just amplify fear. If you doubt God's goodness, it may amplify goodness.
An amplifier may be a demon spirit that's commanded by God to only do one thing and nothing more. But it's a category because it's a one-to-one ratio. You do this sin, you get an amplifier of that sin.
Then the thing that always baffled me in deliverance ministry was the infirmity spirit. People would have infirmities and I could never get those spirits to respond. I could never get them to answer so I could interrogate them. What I started to learn over time is infirmity spirits are not demonic. Demonic spirits can create infirmity, but this other category of infirmity spirits, it's a whole other set of spirits. It can manifest as allergy, as asthma, it can manifest as sleep apnea, as cancer, all kinds of things. But what is a spirit that's there? Its sole purpose is to bring forth infirmity.
Usually the sin of that infirmity is something different from that spirit. I can't sin with cancer and now I get cancer. I can sin with anger and get anger. Usually we do some sort of a sin and then a spirit comes in and creates a sickness. This is exactly what it says in Deuteronomy, that you'll have sickness and lingering illness that will just cling to you. So it's tied to sin, but it's manifested through another spirit.
So those are the three. You have demon, amplifiers, and you have infirmity.
Ashley James (1:38:40.596)
So if you can't talk to the infirmity, how do you heal that? How do you resolve that?
Beatty Carmichael (1:38:48.738)
Yes, that's the limitation with deliverance, but the huge thing with the prayer of freedom. One of the things I've realized that God has been showing me these things is He wants people to be free. I think we're probably moving into, now this is opinion, so don't judge the prayer of freedom on this statement.
But I think we're probably moving into the millennium of a thousand-year reign of peace. If that's to happen, that means the darkness has to get out because it's darkness that creates evil. It's light that creates peace, if we use those metaphors. The only way you get darkness out of someone's life is through repentance. So watch this. Once I started to understand that it's sin, that's the key issue. It's the source of it all. Repenting of it is the solution to getting rid of it all.
Then it goes far beyond deliverance ministry and dealing with a demonic spirit that will respond to you. Now what's happening with the prayer of freedom is understanding that it's sin-based. With these categories I've created, they're used as memory joggers.
One is going to be unforgiveness. Make a list and you ask God to help remind you, everyone that's hurt me that I need to forgive. Another category is sexual sin. Make a list of everyone you've had sex or sexual activity with outside of marriage. Then another one is occult. List every time you do light as a feather seance, tarot cards, horoscope, Ouija board, whatever the dark arts are.
Ashley James (1:40:40.427)
What would be like watching witchcraft movies or, mean, listening to a podcast where the person who's being interviewed is talking about that sort of thing. Just even observing. I've heard that even just walking in a room and observing witchcraft can open that.
Beatty Carmichael (1:41:02.010)
Yes, so it's anytime you're engaging. Josh with the Ouija board, he was simply observing, but it's more than just observing, he was engaging with it. Okay. It is that engagement that's the part. So if I walk in a room and someone's watching a witchcraft movie, it's probably not going to affect me if I simply ignore it. But if I sit down and get really enthralled with it and watch it, now it could impact me.
So it's that engagement that you're giving into whatever's going on. It's very subtle, the line of engagement. When in doubt, stay away. That's the main thing. By the way, here's something real interesting. My Catholic friend, Father Spotswood, and another friend that helped me with a key part of what I do in identifying some of these roots, they were saying that when they help people get through deliverance and they would have them burn all the stuff that is bad, a lot of times they'll have Harry Potter books and they'll burn the books. She says, I'll actually see the curses and the spells in the spirit realm waft up through the smoke away from the books when they're burned.
So even reading and doing things with Harry Potter can open doors because there are spells in there, there are real spells, and there is witchcraft. You're dealing in the dark arts. So there are a lot of things that we do that we think are child's play, and it's really not. It's dark. When you make these lists of all these things and you're using God to bring to your mind anything that you need to make a list of, what it's doing is holistically going through and making you go from the blamed perspective to blame this.
When we repent of sin, what it's doing is appropriating Jesus's blood over that sin, removing it from our record. When it's removed from the record, then the torment that we're receiving from it goes with it as well. So we don't have to know what I did for the infirmity spirits because I'm making a list of all kinds of things that I've done. In God's grace, He's revealing these things to you that you may have forgotten from years back. Now you're prompted through this memory jogger process, and now you're getting free of all of it.
The other thing, this is an interesting side benefit. As I did my interview—if you go to my website, theprayeroffreedombook.com, you'll see a bunch of testimonies that I've done with people that have gone through this. I would always ask them an ending question. Sometimes the question is on the video and sometimes it's not. But I was always asking, how has going through this impacted your walk with God? Every single person would make comments: it's 1,000 times better. It's 100 times better.

Once you get the darkness out of your life, all of this crud of sin, then you're free to more intimately engage with God. He's more intimate with you because now there's no sin blocking you. Sin is a blockage. It's dark, it's filthy. The picture I can give you is to imagine you've lived the last 10 or 20 years and have never taken a bath. You exercise, you run, you dig in the ground, you take all these trips and you wear the same clothes. So now you're greasy, you're filthy, you're stinky. You don't look normal because you're so full of grease and dirt.
So you take a long bath and it's going to take a long time to wash it all off. But now you become squeaky clean. You look different. You're brighter. People can actually see your complexion. Now people can see you rather than see all the grime that is covering you. In a similar way, it's almost that way with God. Now there's no grime to stand between you and God because now you've obeyed Him, you've repented, and your relationship with the Lord goes super deep. Your intimacy with Him goes super deep.
As you're reading the Word, you're hearing His voice clearer because now there's no sin that's blocking it. Sin is a veil that blocks the Spirit from interacting in your life. Your spirit is always talking to you because our spirit is already united with Christ's Spirit. That's what the New Covenant says, that God puts His Spirit with ours. So now in spirit, we are God, not Creator God, but we are of God because His Spirit is united with ours.
Now when we get the sin out of our life, then we can commune with our spirit more clearly and we hear God's voice clearer. We're able to walk by faith easier because faith comes from the Spirit, not from the soul. Everything's running smoothly and life is so blessed. I remember leading one person through this. I said, when you go through all this, you'll have no issues in your life. No junk, no fights, no relationship issues, no sickness, no heaviness, no depression, no anxiety, no garbage anywhere.
He said, is that really possible? I said, yes, my family and I have been living this way for years. What he thought was impossible, living a life of zero issues, is possible when you close all the doors. All the issues are the demonic side trying to torment you, but when the doors are locked, they can't get to you. You become like Job. You become blessed. There's a hedge of protection around you. The only true hedge of protection is when you've repented of everything that the enemy can accuse you of.
Now if you can't be accused, there's no judgment against you from the demonic realm and therefore they have no stronghold over you. Life becomes amazingly blessed.
Ashley James (1:47:32.286)
So this is a process that we can do ourselves and we can learn about it through your book, theprayeroffreedombook.com and also get your app, get Radical Faith The App, and just dive into this information, dive into the lessons and just start doing the process.
Beatty Carmichael (1:47:53.698)
Just doing the process. Let me share one more thing. This is super, super, super cool. It's spiritual, and it's prayer, and it's repentance. We have the model where in the Old Testament someone else can bring repentance to God for someone else's sin. We have it in multiple areas. Remember that sin creates a legal right for a tormenting spirit.
It says in the Old Testament that the father of a virgin daughter, if he sees and finds out that she made a contract, a binding agreement with anyone on anything, he has the authority to cancel it. The same thing with his wife, because he is in authority over the daughter and authority over the wife. If his wife enters into any sort of a commitment or agreement, once he finds out about it, he can cancel it because he has the authority to cancel. Repentance cancels the legal right.
So right here we see the precedence that one person in authority can cancel the legal right of someone underneath their authority. Then we see the same thing in the priesthood. You have the chosen nation of Israel and then you have the tribe of Levi that's been the chosen tribe of God. Then of the Levites, you have the line of Aaron, that is the priesthood. Here's how it works. In the Old Testament, the modern-day equivalent of repentance is sacrifice. But the people who sinned in Israel, they would bring their sacrifice, not to God, but to the Levites who gave it to the priest.
The priest would take the sacrifice and the blood and present it before God. In other words, the priests were the intermediary between the common person who sinned and God to forgive the sin. Are you following the concept so far?
So now we are the royal priesthood as a new covenant, which means we operate in a priestly role, which means we have authority to bring repentance to God on behalf of someone else. I know it happens in familial line, so father, mother, children, and in loving line, which is child to parent. I believe it also extends to sibling line and it could go beyond. This is stuff I'm still testing, but the things I've tested seem absolute proof.
A parent can repent on behalf of a child and free that child from torment. A child can repent on behalf of the parent and free that parent from torment. It may not be permanent because the thing with deliverance is when you cast the spirit out and the person doesn't understand how it left, they'll go back and do the same thing. But what I'm seeing is really cool.
My brother, when he graduated college, he went out to the West Coast, made a lot of money, had a little business and multiple six-figure income. Then something started happening and it went spiraling down and he lost everything. He kept using the equity in his home for the next five or 10 years and finally had to sell the home for nothing. He moved his family back home to my parents' house and now he's got a family of six living in his parents' house. He could barely make enough just to cover their family expenses without any housing or other stuff. Then his daughter gets a job in the same line of work as he does and makes more money than he does. He's better at it than she is. He was stuck there for 15 years.
As I was starting to understand this, I said to my dad, he was 87 years old at the time, I said, “Dad, why don't you repent on my brother's behalf? Because I think all this stuff is spiritual torment.” He said, “Well, I don't know what to do.” I said, “Well, I'll just lead you in it.” So I led my dad, this elderly man, to repent for his 50-something-year-old son on just things that I knew about that most of them were tied into the dark side of stuff, into these little things that were on the occult side. It took about 10 minutes.
He said, “I think we're finished.” So I left. Then three weeks later, my brother gets an unexpectedly large pay raise that doubles his salary. Three weeks after that, they put a contract on a house, they start to move out. A couple of months after that, he's invited to speak internationally over in Europe for the excellence of his work. He gets another pay raise, he gets this and that. He's now an expert and everyone's seeking his counsel out because of how he's managing his team in this business and everything shifted.

Another person is, I've got a friend named Johnny. He's my age. His adult son, for 15 years, they've been battling this horrible thing. They can't get together without blowing up at each other. His son has been really angry towards his dad, his dad doesn't know why. So family get-togethers are just these knock-down, drag-out yelling fights. It's just terrible and the whole family is on this.
So I lead Johnny. I said, “Well, this sounds like torment. Why don't you repent on his behalf?” He said, “I don't know how.” I said, “Well, when did it all start?” He said, “When I got that pay raise at work and I was no longer able to spend time with him like I did with my other kids.” Okay, so that's it. He felt abandoned. You say that you played with the kids. You don't play with him. So he thinks you don't love him. Now he's abandoned emotionally and he's got all this unforgiveness. So why don't you just repent on his behalf?”
So Johnny did. About a week later, he calls his son on the way home from work. He has an hour drive, and he said it was just this wonderful conversation. At the end of the drive, they keep talking for another 30 minutes. Johnny said, “That never happened. I've never seen that happen.” Then at the next family gathering, I don't know if it was Easter or something, everyone comes together. There's no fight the whole time. Night and day difference, and all it was was the father repenting on behalf of a child.
Then I have another friend, and her parents are always bickering. Anytime they've had to actually separate relationship with their parents because it was so caustic. After my friend, both husband and wife, went through this, their marriage calmed down.
Their children calmed down and they wanted to re-engage with her parents. So I said, why don't you repent on your parents' behalf for the same issues that are driving in their life. So she did. Then they were able to get together and it was very peaceful and everything shifted. So you can start to free loved ones through the same process because as a priest, you can bring repentance. It's the same thing as, this makes more sense for a lot of people.
I can send an attorney to represent me at court and he can speak on my behalf. As royal priests, we can go to the court of heaven, which is where repentance is done, and we can bring repentance on someone else's behalf. It's the same process. All God requires is repentance. He doesn't require it out of the mouth of the person that needs to repent. It's not as good as the person repenting because the person may not know it.
They may not understand why they're repenting, how these things come in. So you'll find them falling right back into those situations, but it can break down the barriers enough so that if you have someone that's reluctant, hesitant, or unable to actually do the prayer freedom on their own, you as a loved one can start to repent on their behalf and start to do the, I call it the artillery and air support to soften the enemy before the ground troops go.
Go in in military terms. You can start to provide that support to soften the enemy, get a bunch of that stuff out of the way. So now that loved one can actually go through the prayer of freedom and get completely free on their own. It's really, really powerful where this can go.
Ashley James (1:56:52.132)
I love it. This is actually not new to me, which is really exciting. When we moved to this area about four years ago, I found a new church. They actually stood up to the Washington government and didn't shut down. The second time Washington made it illegal to go to church twice, the second wave, the second time they said no.
You can sue us, we'll sue you back. We're not shutting down. So that's, I was, it was also, it's a very, it's a church close to my house, which is convenient. They have a great children's program, and I just loved the fact that they were open. I was, this is wonderful, because it's exactly what I needed, being in grief, having lost my daughter, just lost her. Within the first two times I visited, I ran into a homeschool friend, she's another mom that homeschools, and she says, you have to meet my friend that does this kind of intercession work.
So within one or two, the first two times I went to this church, she was there, and it turns out he almost never would go because he went to another church since it was closer to his house. But he happened to be there the day I was there. I ended up learning about some of this, the heavenly courts, the things you're talking about. He gave me some prayers and talked to me about it. We walked through some stuff and she said that it really had helped her. I just, this whole concept was new at the time, but after listening to some stuff, I was like, this is fascinating.
It's getting into definitely a more mystic Christianity, but this is what Jesus wanted for us, because He said, you can do this, you're going to be able to do this and more. He said, we're going to be given the authority, we're going to be given the ability. So God wants us to walk with Him. We have spiritual gifts, He's given all of us spiritual gifts. He wants the fruit of the spiritual gifts to be born of our faith and of our walk with Him and to come out of us. We all have this potential inside us, but it's up to us to foster it. That's just the beauty of growing our relationship with God.

This has been so much. There's so much we've covered. Of course, I never want to stop this interview ever. I'm going to actually make it two parts, just ease up on the listener. But of course, we all want to dive into your book because the first instinct is, well, could you please do this for me? That's the first instinct. You said when we were talking before I hit record, you're like, I've really been guided to educate and arm people with the ability to do it themselves because we don't want to start worshipping you. You're not the power doing this. You're just the tour guide, guiding peanuts. It's not about your power. It's about God and you're working with God to strengthen the authority He's given you. But what you want, what He's identified for you, is that what's important is that you spread these seeds so that we can pick it up and get that.
We can do the work ourselves. That's the most important thing, that we do the work ourselves. So let's get the book, theprayeroffreedombook.com. Now, can people reach out to you if they, let's say they get stuck, they go through the book, they're, can I, mean, I don't know if we're allowed to hire you because then that's sort of, you talked about how we shouldn't pay for God's gifts or the miracles that God gives. So I'm not really sure how that is, but maybe we could donate to your ministry as you continue to do this work. Let us know, how can we connect and how can we learn more and how can we contribute?
Beatty Carmichael (2:01:23.011)
Sure, so you can connect to me at my website, beattycarmichael.com. There's a Contact Us. I'm putting together a master class, which is a really deep dive into the scripture of where all of this comes from and a deep dive into understanding how the spiritual forces work with the purpose of helping people go deeper, understand it, and help diagnose even more both their lives and others' lives.
I don't currently do coaching. I don't think there's anything wrong with charging for coaching because I'm not the one doing the healing. What happened with Gehazi was he turned it into a fee. But I don't want to do coaching. I prefer, as I shared at the beginning, I just want to empower people to do it on their own. But I'm going to be starting probably a small group of some sort where people can get together on a live Zoom call and I'll just be available, not for a fee, but just online. We'll do live stream and take questions. I'm hoping to create a Facebook community page where there can be a lot more interaction.
So as this thing grows, the most important thing is if you give me your information somewhere along the line, you fill out any form on my website, you want to download a free chapter, you want to get, as you go through the book I have a couple things you can request information. As long as I have your email at some point I'll put together an email and shoot it out as we release these other things so you can have greater contact and access to me and more of the things that we're building.
I want to build a community of Prayer of Freedom people around the world where we have those who have been deeply trained to really be able to help pick up the mantle and help those who need more help in getting fully free. So that's where it's all going eventually.
Ashley James (2:03:28.023)
Very cool. I love it. Well, I'd really love to have you back at some point when you have more to share and teach. I feel this is thorough. I'm not saying this is done. This is thorough. But man, just come back. Come back. Let's just keep going. Keep chatting. Keep going deeper.
Beatty Carmichael (2:03:51.458)
I want to point you to something. You mentioned, and it shows how far you've grown in your walk in understanding the mysteries. You said something: I don't know if Jesus, I know He's fully God, but is He man? How does that work? What's the relationship? Jesus is God, but why does He call God His Father? Why does He say “we” when He says that we're one? Then you have this thing, who was Christ?
Well, we know that's Jesus, but why is it Jesus Christ? Why does Luke call Him Jesus of Nazareth, talking about Him as a man, and Paul calls Him Christ Jesus? And there's these deep intricacies, and I'm sure that you're getting what I'm talking about, these deep intricacies of what's going on. So in my app I do some really advanced in-depth teaching on this level.
For you, Ashley, if you go to my app, you look for the advanced teaching. Watch the video up from there. There's a big blue button that says “watch this first.” It'll show you how the app is set up. But in that is your identity in Christ, which starts to lay the foundation at a really deep level. Who are we truly in Christ? It starts with helping you understand who really is Christ. How does this work? What are the mechanics, if you call it that?
Then what is sonship? What does it mean to be adopted to sonship? I go into some really deep theological stuff that you will enjoy. There's definitely a lot more we can talk about on some other show.
Ashley James (2:05:24.930)
Cool. All right. Well, you got to come back. Thank you so much, Beatty, for coming on the show. This has been wonderful. Of course, the links to everything that Beatty does is going to be in the show. So today's podcast at LearnTrueHealth.com.
It's been such a pleasure having you on. I'm going to go the second we're done. I'm grabbing your book and diving in. I'm excited. So next time we have you on, I can share what has transpired in my life. So this is going to be great. Thank you so much.
Beatty Carmichael (2:05:52.306)
Well, I'm looking forward to hearing those stories.
Outro:
Hi, my name is Jennifer Saltzman, and I am the head coach at TakeYourSupplements.com. I wanted to share with you a testimonial that I received from a client of mine—one of the many success stories that I have—but this one was very close to my heart because she's young, has struggled so much to regain her health, and has had such a phenomenal, overcoming testimonial that I really wanted to share it today.
She writes:
My name is Angela. I am 25 years old. I have been on a health journey that consists of an autoimmune disease, fibromyalgia, and other issues that left me feeling defeated and debilitated every day. For 15 years, I have seen eight different specialists and many doctors, and have been in and out of physical therapy, dealing with symptoms I thought would leave me wheelchair-bound and in diapers by the time I was 30.
Well, I am now 25, and after everything I've learned through Jennifer at TakeYourSupplements.com, that definitely won't happen.
Some things doctors have said to me have crushed my hopes. I was told to lose weight and that my pain would go away. So I lost 90 pounds—and the pain was still there. My days were short, and after a five-hour work shift or even a day of running an errand or two, I was left debilitated. So the doctors told me the pain was all in my head because I was previously diagnosed with fibromyalgia—the only diagnosis so many doctors agreed upon because they couldn't think of anything else. Despite me having some form of an immune disease, I felt hopeless and as if life was going to pass me by.
There were times when I tried hiking one or two miles and I was unable to walk or function for days after. I was missing out on trips and adventures, and as embarrassing as it sounds, I was having BM bathroom emergencies so frequently it was ruining my daily function. I could go on about the ways I was ill and what it kept me from, but honestly, after the progress I've made, a long list of symptoms I used to have has become a blur of the past.
When I finally decided to check out TakeYourSupplements.com, recommended through the Learn True Health podcast, I was immediately connected with Jennifer, who kept track of my overwhelmingly long list of complex symptoms and thoroughly created a personalized, step-by-step plan.
Her recommendations have changed my life, and the changes were practically instant. She put me on a complete digestive activation complex that has taken away all of my stomach pain, unnecessary bloating, and gas. She explained to me that the formula supports every stage of digestion—from breakdown to absorption—designed to optimize stomach acid, bile flow, and nutrient assimilation.
She recommended a cellular repair-focused diet, which not only has helped my stomach, but the food gives me energy and makes me feel really good. It reduces inflammation in my body—something no doctor ever told me about.
When I first started with Jennifer, I took the TakeYourSupplements.com health evaluation and scored a negative 32. I just retook it and scored a 69. That's 100 points better in five months.
Still room for progress, but my life nevertheless has been changed, and I am so happy. My days have been much longer and full of adventure. I have hiked the 4,000-footer mountains of New Hampshire—something I never thought I would be able to do. I have had successful days of workouts, errands, and work.
The Learn True Health podcast and Jennifer at TakeYourSupplements.com have done more for me than any doctor ever has, and it all started with validation.
I am now 25 and feel my life is just now starting. It's really hard to put into words just how much has changed for me, so I'll keep on living as actively as possible and learning as much as I can so I can finally take part in the beautiful things of life.
I can't wait for the adventures to come with the hope I've been given through this program. If anyone out there hears this and feels their doctors are taking more than they're giving, give this a try.
Thank you, Ashley and Jennifer. Your knowledge and expertise is a gift I cherish every day.
