Jasmine Bay, L.M., L.Ac. is truly living her dream of bringing midwifery, acupuncture, and traditional western herbalism together to help women achieve balance in everyday life and in the profound moments around giving birth.
Jasmine started going to births as a volunteer doula in 1999 and graduated from Seattle Midwifery School in 2003. She has attended over 130 births and has learned something from every single one, and will always continue to learn and be in awe at how amazing bodies are.
She graduated from Wu Hsing Tao School in Seattle, a Classical Five Element Acupuncture school where she learned about the power of nature and how it can help anyone heal. She has been receiving Five Element Acupuncture since she was in-utero herself, (when her mother went to acupuncture) and it seemed only natural that she would learn this skill and pass on the gift to other moms and babies and their families.
Jasmine gave birth to her son Blaze in 2013 and loves being a mom.
Part of Jasmine’s practice also includes education around herbs and traditional nutrition. A true community herbalist does not “prescribe” herbs for you to take or a diet for you to follow, but works with you, teaching about how to take care of yourself with solid nutrition through whole foods and herbs.
If you live in the Seattle area, visit Jasmine’s website to book an appointment or attend her community acupuncture clinic!
